Project Update | 9-13 Abbotsford Street, Kensignton
MESO Solutions is excited to share an update from our project in Kensington, delivered for our client HSN. This development will feature a co-living building with a two-level basement parking.
In addition to a heritage listed structure on site, the team is working close to critical underground sewer infrastructure and neighbouring buildings. As a result, this project needs high precision and technical expertise.
Double Bracing Installed
Complex sites like this require a strategic approach. Within the site constraints, achieving the required anchor offset was not feasible. In response, the MESO team adopted an internal bracing system in place of a conventional ground anchor installations.
The double level bracing system was custom engineered for this project, thus to safely retain the structures and maintain stability – all while avoiding interference with the sewer asset.
Momentum On The Ground
The team has made significant progress – ground anchor installations are completed and pit has been installed. Dewatering and water control injections are underway on site, managing tough ground and unpredictable weather. Despite the challenges, the crew on ground has it under control and is delivering this project safely and on schedule.
We engineer – with innovation, precision and care.
