Project Announcement | 44-48 O’Dea Ave, Waterloo.

MESO Solutions is excited to announce a new project in Waterloo for our client, DASCO. The development will feature 400 residential apartments and three basement levels. When we joined the action, the sheet piles were already in. Despite the unique conditions on site and the challenges. the crew has made steady progress over the past couple weeks.

Challenges On Site

When we joined the action, the sheet piles were already in. Despite limited influence over the early groundwork, our design crew adapted fast and engineered clever, site-specific solutions that pushed beyond our standard designs. The pits on site are big and bold, with extra-large sheets and oversized void formers that required precise teamwork.

Due to the pre-existing site conditions, this site demanded adaptability and extra support. The MESO Team adapted quickly – they designed custom oversized void formers for the perimeter on site and added MESO Max Brace to stabilise the existing shoring.

Steady Progress

With some pits complete and waterproofed, the site is progressing quickly. The crew has finished installing void formers on the perimeter of one basement, with some parts completed with our waterproofing membrane.

We adapt – with precision, innovation and speed.
