About the Role
Plant Mechanic
We’re seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of machinery. If you have strong diagnostic skills, experience with large equipment like excavators, and a solutions-focused approach, we’d love for you to join our dynamic team in Sydney’s construction industry.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Repair, Service & Maintain equipment & Fleet, including 2 tonne – 36 tonne excavators and attachments.
- Conduct site service and breakdown repairs.
- Source machinery & equipment parts for defect repairs and orders.
- Complete documentation for maintenance requests, repairs and orders.
- Maintain, diagnose and repair small engines.
- Ensure all work meets OEM, safety and operational standards.
Qualifications:
- Forklift Ticket (preferred).
- Telehandler Ticket (preferred).
- Excavator Ticket (preferred).
- Construction Industry White Card (required).
- Valid Drivers Licence (required).
- Certificate III in mobile plant technology (required).
About You:
- Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Solutions focused with adaptability to changing requirements.
- Display punctuality, discipline and professionalism.
- Able to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
- Own transport.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience with 2 tonne – 36 tonne excavators.
