About the Role
Plant Mechanic
Full Time Position – 5.5 day week (38+ hours)
Hourly rate dependent on experience up to $48.60 (per hour for all hours worked) + vehicle
Qualifications:
- Forklift Ticket (preferred).
- Telehandler Ticket (preferred).
- Excavator Ticket (preferred).
- Construction Industry White Card (required).
- Valid Drivers Licence (required).
- Certificate III in mobile plant technology (required).
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Repair, Service & Maintain equipment & Fleet, including 2 tonne – 36 tonne excavators and attachments.
- Conduct site service and breakdown repairs.
- Source machinery & equipment parts for defect repairs and orders.
- Complete documentation for maintenance requests, repairs and orders.
- Maintain, diagnose and repair small engines.
- Ensure all work meets OEM, safety and operational standards.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience with 2 tonne – 36 tonne excavators.

- Able to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
